The LUNA VALLEY SOLAR project is a proposed 372.5 MW hybrid solar and battery energy storage project located in Fresno County, California. The development project consists of a 204 MW solar array coupled with a 168.5 MW battery energy storage system. It is interconnected to the CAISO grid at the Tranquility 230 kV point of interconnection.
The project, developed under the utility PGAE, entered the CAISO interconnection queue as queue ID CAISO-1129 on April 30, 2015, and has a proposed commercial operation date of December 29, 2028.
